About the Journal

JTAM (Online ISSN 1314-8710; Print ISSN  0861-6663) i is a peer-reviewed, international and interdisciplinary journal that provides a forum for cross-disciplinary research contributions covering a broad spectrum of issues pertaining to the mechanics. The journal accepts reviews, theoretical and experimental works as contributions. It also publishes special issues and selected papers from relevant conferences. JTAM presents original research consistent with its scope, organized into four thematic groups:

• General Mechanics (GM)
• Solid and Structural Mechanics (SM)
• Fluid Mechanics (FM)
• Interdisciplinary studies involving problems governed by the laws of mechanics (ID)

Journal of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics is a quarterly edition of the National Committee of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. It publishes original research papers and invited survey articles in all areas of mechanics. The Journal is published by the Institute of Mechanics at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. It is sponsored by the National Science Fund, Ministry of Education and Science of Bulgaria.

To all the published articles is provided an open access. There is no production fee for publishing.
